Hagerstown Suns owner proposes new option for stadium

Hagerstown Suns majority owner Bruce Quinn on Tuesday proposed a new option that would keep the Western Maryland city's Class A Washington Nationals farm team there for decades to come, the Hagerstown Herald-Mail reported.

At a work-session meeting with the mayor and City Council, Quinn offered a $25 million stadium concept to keep the Hagerstown Suns from moving to Winchester, Va. It included $3 million in upfront money for naming rights and an annual rent payment of $105,000 over 30 years.
