Greenhorne & O'Mara selling to Canadian firm
Stantec, a Canadian engineering, architecture and design firm, has agreed to buy Greenhorne & O’Mara, a Laurel-based firm with 520 employees in the mid-Atlantic.
The deal is expected to close by year end. It will be the third firm Stantec has acquired in the fourth quarter this year.
Stantec CEO Bob Gomes said in a statement that the deal bolsters his company’s East Coast presence and gives it access to Greenhorne & O’Mara’s federal government clients.
