Green-energy company that received stimulus money hits auction block

A bankrupt battery manufacturer that received $133 million in federal stimulus grants could end up belonging to a Chinese company following an auction scheduled for today, the Washington Post reported.

A123 Systems, which used the money to build a manufacturing facility in Michigan, sells lithium ion batteries for electric cars among other uses.
