Government says home prices return to 2004 levels
Home prices continue to rise but, according to a government report, the median sales price in November was still 15.2 percent below peak prices in April, and roughly equal to prices in August 2004.
The Federal Housing Finance Agency says home prices rose 0.6 percent from October to November. It also revised the increase in October upward to a 0.6 percent increase from the previous month.
For the 12 months ending in November, median prices were up 5.6 percent.
