GOP vows to balance budget without raising taxes

House Republicans Tuesday committed to balancing the federal budget within 10 years without raising taxes, The Business Journals reported.

House Speaker John Boehner has directed House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan to come up with a plan to balance the budget by no later than 2024.
