Fowler resigns from Maryland Lottery Commission
Kirby Fowler, who has served as chairman of the Maryland Lottery and Gamming Control Commission for the past 3 1/2 years, has resigned from the board, he confirmed Thursday.
Fowler told commissioners at the start of Thursday’s meeting that he had resigned. He said continuing to serve on the commission, which regulates casinos, could pose the appearance of a conflict with his role as president of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, as the business development group starts to assist the operators…
