Foreclosing lenders told to check their work

In a bid to speed up relief to homeowners that may have been mistreated by foreclosing lenders, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has ordered the lenders to go back over their actions and uncover errors in order to help determine the size of homeowner compensation, The New York Times reported.
