Ford aims for Lincoln rebound, including planned Super Bowl ad
Ford Motor Co.'s Lincoln brand is changing its name as the company's new MKZ luxury Lincoln goes on sale this month, Bloomberg BusinessWeek magazine reported Monday. The company will also feature its first-ever Super Bowl advertising spot.
The 97-year-old luxury brand is returning to its original moniker, Lincoln Motor Co., in hopes the name will help restore the brand's lost luster in recent years to other luxury vehicles such as Lexus and BMW.
