Farm-to-table Chesapeake Restaurant to reopen in spring
The Chesapeake Restaurant at 1701 N. Charles St. is scheduled to reopen this spring after 25 years of sitting vacant.
The 5,000-square-foot restaurant will seat 130-plus customers and will still go by the same name, although it has been redeveloped since it closed in 1987. This time around, it will feature farm-to-table dining, although developer and restaurant co-owner Ernst Valery declined to share menu specifics or the price range, just that it will be “accessible.”
