Epic Games closes Hunt Valley office, lays off 40
Epic Games has closed its Baltimore County office and laid off 40 employees, just six months after opening the location.
The North Carolina videogame maker opened the Hunt Valley office, known as Impossible Studios, in August and most of the workers were former employees of the defunct Big Huge Games. The office was being headed by studio director Sean Dunn, a veteran of Big Huge Games, which folded last June along with its parent company, 38 Studios.
