Environmentalists mull appeal of Curtis Bay power plant

Environmentalists may appeal an order that allows the extension of a construction permit for a controversial trash-burning power plant near Curtis Bay in Anne Arundel County, the Annapolis Capital reported. The order issued on Tuesday allows work to go ahead at the stalled Fairfield Renewable Energy Power Plant on a 90-acre site just across from Baltimore City.
