Electronic health record funding to be cut under sequester

Here’s another sequester victim: The federal money health care providers have been getting to offset the cost of electronic health record systems.

Modern Healthcare reports that the sequester’s 2 percent cut to Medicare payments will mean that physicians and hospitals participating in the Medicare portion of an electronic health record incentive program will see a cut in their payments.
