Driver, passenger critical after car strikes utility pole

A driver on an Anne Arundel County road on Wednesday evening lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole, leaving him and a female passenger with critical injuries at Maryland Shock Trauma, according to Anne Arundel Police.
