Downtown Baltimore adds 10,400 jobs: report
Downtown Baltimore saw a 10 percent increase in job growth in 2012, reaching pre-recession employment levels, even as the downtown office vacancy rate remains stubbornly high, according to Downtown Partnership of Baltimore Inc.’s State of Downtown report set for release on Thursday.
Downtown added 10,400 jobs, and the overall office vacancy rate rose slightly from 17.7 percent to 17.8 percent last year, according to Downtown Partnership.
