Domino donates $50K toward Sandy relief
Domino Sugar is donating $50,000 to the American Red Cross to help with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The company, which owns and operates the Domino Sugar refinery in Baltimore, also recently donated 30,200 pounds of sugar and other company products to food drives in the New Jersey area.
Domino Sugar employs about 500 people at its sugar refinery on Key Highway. The company’s refinery on the Hudson River in New York was closed for close to two weeks in the wake of the superstorm.
