Developer sues Baltimore Co. Council over golf course zoning

The Baltimore County Council is facing a suit over a zoning decision it made last summer involving the now-defunct Chestnut Ridge golf course in Lutherville, the Baltimore Sun reported.

In a lawsuit filed in Baltimore County Circuit Court, CR Golf Club LLC, which has ties to Timonium developer Cignal Corp., claims the council made an unfair land-use decision that reduced the number of million-dollar homes that can be built on the former golf course from 85 to only nine.
