Developer backs out of land swap for new Bethesda police station

Developer the JBG Cos. has backed out of a public-private land swap deal that leaves plans to build a new Bethesda police station up in the air, BethesdaNow reports.

The County Council had signed off on the deal in order to secure a replacement for the more than 50-year-old existing police station.
