Day 1 Studios acquired for $20M
Day 1 Studios, which has an office in Hunt Valley, has been acquired by international online game developer Wargaming for $20 million.
The acquisition of Chicago-based Day 1 Studios is intended to help build Wargaming’s repertoire of game titles and expand to new game platforms. Day 1 is being renamed Wargaming West and will focus exclusively on developing a new console game, Wargaming said.
