Cybersecurity tech company to lay off 25 Frederick employees

Sotera Defense Solutions Inc., a national security technology company in Frederick, plans to lay off 25 employees effective Monday, the Frederick News-Post reported.

Herndon, Va.-based Sotera, which specializes in counterterrorism and cybersecurity, has filed a layoff notice with the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. The company has approximately 1,500 employees in Maryland, Virginia and South Carolina.
