COPT to offer 3.9M common shares
Corporate Office Properties Trust, the Columbia developer and owner of office buildings for defense contractors and government agencies, has launched a public stock offering of 3.9 million common shares.
COPT (NYSE: OFC) said Wednesday it plans to use the proceeds to redeem 7.625 percent Series J Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares, repay money borrowed under a revolving credit line, and for general corporate purposes. Bank of America Merrill Lynch is handling the stock offering. COPT shares…
