Construction starts on 304-unit apartment complex near Johns Hopkins Hospital

The apartment boom continues in East Baltimore with construction on Jefferson Square at Washington Hill underway.

Jefferson Apartment Group is planning a five-story mixed-use development with 304 apartments and 21,000 square feet of retail. A CVS Caremark store has already signed on to the project between Wolfe and Washington streets just south of Johns Hopkins Hospital.
