Central Avenue bridge plans shaping up

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will soon make a decision about the makeup of a bridge that would extend Central Avenue to Harbor Point, according to the city’s planning director.

Thomas J. Stosur, director of the city Planning Department, said the main issue is whether there will be two or four traffic lanes on the bridge. Stosur’s remarks came at Thursday’s meeting of the Urban Design and Architecture Review Panel, which reviewed general plans for the new 27-acre Harbor Point development.
