Carlyle Group seeks buyer for Arinc, report says
The Carlyle Group has hired advisors to sell Annapolis-based aerospace company Arinc Inc., Reuters reports.
Carlyle acquired Arinc in 2007 and failed to find a buyer for the company in 2010. It sold Arinc's government consulting business to McLean, Va.-based Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. (NYSE: BAH) last year for $154 million.
Arinc could be worth as much as $1.5 billion, Reuters said, citing sources.
