BWI Doubletree hotel sells

A Providence, R.I., hotel group has acquired the Doubletree Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel in Linthicum.

Procaccianti has managed the seven-story, 260-room hotel since 2010 and rebranded it from Holiday Inn to Doubletree.

“After operating the property for more than two years under a third-party management agreement ... we ultimately came to the decision to pursue ownership of the asset,” said Robert Leven, chief investment officer for Procaccianti.
