Bruce Variety store set to move after 60 years in Bethesda

The Bruce Variety store in Bethesda's Bradley Shopping Center is closing after six decades there and could move to another location, The Washington Post reported.

The store is reportedly closing because of rent increases, and an online petition has been started by fans of the store asking the shopping center landlord to allow Bruce Variety to renegotiate terms of the lease.
