Booz Allen closes on Arinc engineering division purchase
Booz Allen Hamilton has closed on its $154 million cash purchase of the defense systems engineering and support division of Arinc Inc. The transaction adds to Booz Allen’s workforce 1,000 employees based in various locations nationwide.
Booz Allen (NYSE: BAH) said the acquisition will add to earnings beginning in fiscal 2014, which begins April 1, 2013.
Arinc, the Annapolis-based aviation engineering and communications firm, is one of the largest privately held companies in the Baltimore area.…
