Big business: Tax hikes OK as part of fiscal cliff deal

The top executives of America's largest companies have pivoted, telling congressional leaders and President Barack Obama to put tax increases on the table in fiscal cliff talks, the Business Journals reported.

In July, the Business Roundtable called on Congress to extend all of the soon-to-expire Bush-era tax cuts for another year. But now, business leaders say avoiding the fiscal cliff must be the top priority.
