BGE begins to prepare for snowstorm
Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. said Monday it has made an initial request for as many as 500 utility workers from out-of-state to deal with a snowstorm expected to reach the mid-Atlantic on Wednesday.
The late-winter storm is expected to dump six to 15 inches of snow on the Baltimore area and bring in wind gusts of up to 50 miles an hour.
