Best Buy Co. Inc., Sears Holding Corp. and J.C. Penney Co. Inc. likely will close hundreds of stores each this year, according to analysis done by USA Today.
The newspaper compiled a list of the eight retailers that will close the most U.S. stores this year. Others on the list are Office Depot Inc., Barnes & Noble Inc., GameStop Corp., OfficeMax Inc. and RadioShack Corp.
USA Today factored in stock performance, holiday sales and overall company health in compiling the list.
