Berger Cookies return to Baltimore-area stores

After more than a month's absence, Baltimore's iconic Berger Cookies returned to area supermarkets and stores Monday, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The Cherry Hill bakery was shut down Jan. 31 by the Baltimore City Health Department for operating without a city-issued food-service license, which was approved by the Health Department last Wednesday.
