Barnes & Noble to close up to one-third of its stores VIDEO
Barnes & Noble Inc. could close up to one-third of its retail stores within the next decade, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The company's chief executive, Mitchell Klipper, said Barnes & Noble plans to reduce its retail footprint to as few as 450 stores by 2023. The chain has 689 retail stores in addition to 674 college stores.
