Bank of America survey says midsize firms don't expect to hire in 2013
Most financial executives at midsize businesses around the U.S. don’t expect to hire more workers this year, according to a survey released Friday.
Only 45 percent said they expect to expand their workforce, while 48 percent said they plan to keep the same number of workers, the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2013 CFO Outlook found. Eight percent expect layoffs at their companies, up slightly from 7 percent in last year’s survey.
