Bank of America awards $362,000 to Baltimore-area nonprofits
The Bank of America Charitable Foundation said Wednesday it has awarded $362,000 to 18 Baltimore-area nonprofits.
The banking giant said the grants address critical needs, such as hunger and shelter, to longer term solutions that promote financial wellness through access to benefits and resources.
The Helping Up Mission, for example, will use the $19,000 grant to purchase food for the growing number of poor and homeless men it serves.
