Baltimore Sun to drop AP stories next year
The Baltimore Sun is among seven Tribune Co. newspapers that will no longer run stories from the Associated Press beginning in early January.
The transition should not be too rough — the papers have been using Reuters as a primary news source instead of AP for the past two years, according to a statement from Tribune Co. spokesman Gary Weitman. The Sun also supplements its coverage with articles from other Tribune Co. news organizations and McClatchy-Tribune wire stories.
