Baltimore to sever ties with operators of six schools

After a months-long review of Baltimore City schools, district officials are recommending severing ties with independent operators of six schools, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The officials also recommended granting multi-year contract extensions to all but three of the 18 charter schools seeking renewal.
