Baltimore school board to hire ex-state senator to lobby for construction funds

Former State Sen. Barbara A. Hoffman will be hired by the Baltimore City school board to lobby for General Assembly approval of its $2.4 billion rebuilding plan, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The board is expected to sign off Tuesday on Hoffman's hiring.
