Baltimore retailers worry over fiscal cliff
Baltimore’s small business owners Thursday afternoon flanked the Inner Harbor waterfront, where Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Acting U.S. Secretary of Commerce Rebecca Blank urged Congress to resolve the fiscal cliff.
Rawlings-Blake said Baltimore’s tourism and retail businesses will be jeopardized if Congress does not find a solution by Dec. 31 for the fiscal cliff, which would end Bush-era tax cuts and impose government spending cuts that are likely to send the country toward another…
