Baltimore ranks 23rd in U.S. for traffic congestion
Baltimore ranks as the 23rd worst city in the U.S. for traffic congestion.
The new report from the Texas A&M Transportation Institute says the average Baltimore commuter loses 41 hours annually due to traffic.
Baltimoreans need to allow themselves 380 percent extra freeway time to get somewhere, ranking 15th in the U.S. For example, if you need to be somewhere in 20 minutes, you should allow yourself 76 minutes.
The report also says Baltimore-area commuters waste 19 gallons a year due to congestion.…
