Baltimore Behavioral Health files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy

Baltimore Behavioral Health Inc filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Dec. 28, citing at least $5.5 million in liabilities.

The nonprofit drug treatment center owes money to a range of public and private debtors, including $4 million in payroll taxes to the Internal Revenue Service, according to the filing. That and several other debts are disputed, according to the organization’s bankruptcy filing.
