Arundel school board sets billion-dollar operating budget

The first billion-dollar operating budget for Anne Arundel County schools was adopted Wednesday, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The budget includes $16 million for employee raises and represents a 3.2 percent increase over the current year's budget.
