Arundel Executive Leopold guilty on two counts
Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold was found guilty of misconduct in office for using his police protection detail to perform political duties and for requiring police and an aide to empty his catheter bag after surgery, the Baltimore Sun reported.
Leopold was cleared of another count of misconduct, which involved him using his police detail to take him to meet a mistress in parked cars and a count of fraudulent misappropriation by a fiduciary. Leopold now awaits sentencing.
