AIG decides to not sue U.S. over $182B bailout

American International Group said Wednesday it will not sue the U.S. Government for the $182 billion bailout at taxpayer expense that saved the insurance giant from financial ruin beginning four years ago, Reuters reported.

AIG had been considering whether to join a lawsuit filed by its former CEO Hank Greenberg and his company Starr International that claims the rescue was unfair to shareholders.
