ACLU sues Anne Arundel, County Executive Leopold for alleged enemies list

The American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland sued Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold Wednesday over dossiers allegedly compiled by the police officers assigned to protect him.

Filed in Anne Arundel Circuit Court on behalf of 11 people, the lawsuit asks the court to order the county to turn over all the files, whose existence became known when Leopold was indicted by a state grand jury last spring.
