Driver charged with DUI after hitting patrol cars; officers called 'heroes'

Two Maryland Transportation Authority Police officers were injured while stopped by the side of Interstate 95 in Elkridge Wednesday night, after their cars were struck by a motorist who has been charged with drunk driving.
