This morning the House of Delegates begins debating Governor O'Malley's gun control bill.  As it stands, the measure would ban assault-style weapons and strengthen the requirements to buy a handgun in Maryland.  We talk with two of the delegates involved in the debate:  Luiz Simmons, Democrat of central Montgomery County, and Mike Smigiel, Republican of the Upper Shore.

But, a new study from Johns Hopkins finds that symptoms also occur among patients in Intensive Care Units. We talk about how it can be prevented with the study's leader, psychiatrist Joseph Bienvenu.

Then, the play “Mud Blue Sky” has its world premiere at Center Stage tomorrow. Tom Hall talks with the playwright Marisa Wegrzyn and director Susanna Gellert.

Maryland Morning senior producer Lawrence Lanahan looks at income inequality numbers for Maryland--and explains why our series "The Lines Between Us" has taken four months to start examining income inequality. We look at why affluent families are fleeing middle class neighborhoods and what can entice them to stay. We examine income segregation with researcher Sean Reardon and Patterson Park resident Jennifer Arndt Robinson. We also ask two residents: city Bureau of Solid Waste worker Demetric Farmer, and Glenham-Belhar Community Association president Sheila Ebelein.
