We visit a nearly forgotten cemetery on the grounds of the now-shuttered Crownsville State Hospital, where patients buried their own.  Historian Janice Hayes-Williams walks us through the gravesite, and tells the story of the institution originally named, ‘The Hospital for the Negro Insane.’  We also talk with Paul Lurz, who worked inside Crownsville for 40 years.

Dan Fesperman talks about his latest book, “The Double Game.” The book has been called a “love letter to the spy novel genre.”

It's been forty years since Baltimore's zoning code saw a major overhaul. What's new? We ask city planning director Tom Stosur.

Anonymity on the Internet can lead to more honest conversation. It can also protect so-called "trolls" who publish misinformation and offensive material. Lately, vigilantes have unmasked some high profile Internet trolls. We ask our social media analysts Nathan Jurgenson and P.J. Rey if some of the unmaskings have gone too far.

We meet a man who grew up blind in a small village in Sierra Leone.  As a child, he taught himself how to play a rare, traditional instrument called the Kondi.  He adopted the name of his instrument, and today, Sorie Kondi is on an unlikely international tour, thanks to a network of world music fan

On Saturday at the Golden West Café in Hampden, several local musicians will donate their talents to raise money to support research into a cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease, or PKD.

In addition to voting for President Barack Obama, Maryland voted yes on all seven statewide ballot questions. To run down the results from the 2012 Election, Sheilah is joined by WYPR's Fraser Smith and Joel McCord, as well as The Capital's Pamela Wood and Bethany Rodgers of the Frederick News-Post.

Marin Alsop will conduct the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra this weekend in concerts that feature perhaps the most recognizable piece of western art music in the world, paired with a new piece by a composer with Baltimore roots.
