Josh Kilmer-Purcell and his partner Brent Ridge, two successful and uptight urbanites, stumbled upon a gorgeous, empty 19th century farmhouse in Sharon Springs, New York and decided to buy it. There began their adventures as gentleman farmers. Surrounded not by taxi cabs and tourists but a herd of goats and an heirloom vegetable garden, Kilmer-Purcell and Ridge forego the frenzy of the city for the headaches of owning and maintaining a two-hundred-year-old mansion.
