What The Ravens Super Bowl Win Means For Baltimore City

The Baltimore Ravens eked out a victory over the San Francisco 49ers to become Super Bowl champs last night. The Ravens surged ahead early, but after a 34 minute halt in play due to a power outage, the 49ers roared back to get within three. But, the Ravens' defense held on a crucial fourth and goal play with less than two minutes to play.

Magenta, aubergine, violet--call it what you like, but no doubt you’re seeing an awful lot of purple around Baltimore these days. As the Ravens prepare for the Superbowl this weekend, we thought we’d take a look at the “purple economy.”
