Midday with Dan Rodricks 5-17-11 Rail Travel in America

Forty years ago Amtrak was created to relieve struggling freight rail services of their money-losing passenger service. Last month Amtrak reported the biggest ridership in its history. Our guests are Ross Capon (Kay-pon) President and CEO of the National Association of Railroad Passengers (NARP) and Stephen Gardner, vice-president of policy and development for Amtrak.
