Dressing for Those Rare (and Sweltering) June Days

“What is so rare as a day in June?  Then, if ever, come perfect days.”  The American poet James Russell Lowell wrote that in 1848.  But these June days don’t always feel perfect—and it can especially be tricky to figure out how to dress for them.  What are the best ways to be office appropriate—and still stay cool?

It’s mid-December, when everyday life—usually busy—can accelerate to unthinkably hectic speed. You can end up rushing from work to an elementary school production of the Nutcracker to a holiday party.  All those different events can require different attire.  What's the best way to go from day to night?

Sparrows Point is synonymous with steel, but as steelmaking on the point comes to at least a temporary standstill, people are looking for ways to bring other jobs to the peninsula. Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz sees an opportunity in the Port of Baltimore, which is hoping to expand.  To figure out possible uses, he’s formed the Sparrows Point Partnership, which meets for the first time tomorrow.  Sheilah speaks with the County Executive about the partnership.
